Saffron reflects the resilience and character of many older women we all know. The lines on her face speak of a life fully lived—of both hardship and joy. I built her through layers of colour, softened with a gentle, sun-warmed palette.

India is a place close to my heart, where vibrant colour sits alongside weathered landscapes—where ancient and modern, poverty and wealth, exist side by side. I think those contrasts live within her.
