Corrine: A study in Colour

I came across an old James Bond Moonraker novel from the 1960s, tucked away in a forgotten stack of books. Its sepia-toned pages were fragile, worn, and quietly beautiful—too full of history to discard.

I used fragments of those pages as collage in the background, allowing the original text to sit beneath the paint. Corrine emerged from this base—strong and composed—while the aged paper adds a subtle depth without overwhelming the piece.

An original acrylic and mixed media painting on canvas, continuing my exploration of layering both material and feeling into each work.
