I spend part of each year in the south of Spain, where the land rises from the sea into dry, sun-washed hills. In the warmer months, a soft haze settles over everything, and the intense blue sky contrasts beautifully with the earthy, neutral landscape.
With ‘Andalusian Light II’, I wanted to capture that feeling through layered tones and gentle movement, with a sweep of blue that draws your eye across the surface.
I see this piece working beautifully in natural, neutral interiors, adding warmth and a sense of calm.
It can be hung on its own or paired with ‘Andalusian Light I’ as a diptych.
